Surrounded by hundreds of cows. Such a peaceful environment with plenty of trees. Amandine reached me the cookies and we enjoyed the present moment. After 4 hours of driving by 40 degrees, we arrived at the campsite. We did not expect to find such a beautiful area to camp for this night.
Scared to get lost while road tripping in Australia? Even if not… this is your partner from now on.
Not even once we have been disappointed with this app. It’s been an amazing journey so far and you really should look it up.
WIKICAMPS is an essential app for traveling in Australia.
The app will show you all the places where you can sleep: free campsites, caravan’s parks, backpackers’ hostels…
There is also plenty of information about the location of public toilets, dump points, information centers… You can read the reviews from all the users: “Don’t come here without a 4×4”, “Here are thousands of Mosquitos during the night”, “Every morning a woman is coming here with her car and she’s offering coffee, she’s super nice!”
This app includes also a GPS that you can use offline. So no worries if you get lost in the middle of nowhere without connection or WIFI. You just need to download the content on your phone (when you have a connection) before you go on the road, EASY!
You need to pay around 5 bucks to get the app but honestly, it’s definitely worth it if you want to travel easily all around Australia. TIP: Download the app “App of the day” because you might see popping up WIKICAMPS as a downloadable app for free. A friend of mine got it there for free!
SAFE TRAVEL Adrian ✌️
